A BBQ rangehood for the outdoor kitchen is probably an appliance a lot of people don’t factor in when creating an outdoor cooking area. Most people would assume you are in the outdoors so why install a rangehood? A good outdoor rangehood can create a pleasant and safe environment for all to enjoy.
The rangehood offers a dedicated exhaust system that is situated above the cooking area and traps the grease, smoke, smells, heat and other particles. Fitted with an internal fan, it will pull all the particles into the unit’s filter.
If you would prefer a cleaner outdoor entertaining environment with cleaner air and an area free from grease, an outdoor BBQ rangehood is a must.
When you look at a rangehood what do you see? Sure, something that looks aesthetically pleasing, but what does it do? How does it work? You might think the answers are simple but you really need to think about your use of a rangehood and not just something that looks good over your BBQ.
If you look at rangehoods when you see different kitchens (indoor and outdoor) you may notice something. The canopy does not always cover the entire cooktop. This means, smoke, particles, odours and grease are not being sucked up by the rangehood. The grime will be going into unseen areas, damaging cabinetry and creating a film on the top of surfaces. This is the result of a canopy that doesn’t match the size of the BBQ.
A large BBQ emits a lot of heat and smoke so outdoor rangehoods have a greater airflow than those of a kitchen rangehood so it is important NOT to install an indoor rangehood outdoors.
Condor Barbecue Rangehoods are Australia’s finest BBQ Rangehood, designed and manufactured right here in Melbourne, Victoria. The Condor range is designed especially to remove the by-products of cooking in the alfresco outdoor area.
Cooking on barbecues and other alfresco cooking equipment such as hotplates and spits can generate copious amounts of smoke as well as grease, moisture and odours that settle on surrounding furniture and fixtures creating an unpleasant and unhygienic environment.
Condors are all equipped with three highly powerful German motors to remove these by-products of cooking before they ruin the ambience of your alfresco area.
The Condors are also exceptionally deep to fully capture the smoke generated by the BBQ. All models have a depth of 800mm with two sets of stainless steel filters to ensure capture efficiency of the rangehoods is at a maximum.
Condor motors have an air movement of 900m3/h per motor and are made exclusively for Condari. All standard Condors are triple motored and move 2700m3/h of air.
